Hand Me Down Hub
We are excited to share information about the Hand Me Down Hub, a volunteer-run community group dedicated to supporting parents and care-givers. Their aim is to offer a range of pre-loved items related to the needs of babies and young children from birth to 5 years. Everyone is welcome, and no referral is needed.
If you have items you'd like to donate, even if they're not on the list, please get in touch with them. By supporting Hand Me Down Hub, you are helping to provide essential items to those in need, making a significant difference in the lives of young children and their families.
What They Do
- Hand Me Down Hub relies on the generosity of the local community to donate clean, good condition items.
- There's no 'charge' for their service, but financial contributions of any size are welcome to help with running costs.
Items Accepted
- Clothing: Birth to 5 years clothing, coats, snowsuits, puddlesuits, shoes, sandals, boots, slippers.
- Bedding and Towels: Blankets, swaddles, sleep bags, hooded towels, muslins, comforters.
- Bathing: Baths, bath seats/supports.
- Play and Comfort: Play mats, gyms, bounce chairs, Moses baskets/stands, bedding.
- Nappies: Nappies and pull-up pants.
- Sterilisation and Changing: Microwave and cold water sterilisers, changing bags, changing mats.
