Hand Me Down Hub
We are excited to share information about one of our partners, Hand Me Down Hub, a volunteer-run community group dedicated to supporting parents and care-givers. Their aim is to offer a range of pre-loved items related to the needs of babies and young children from birth to 5 years. Everyone is welcome, and no referral is needed. Please contact them if you feel they may be able to help you. Also, if you have items you'd like to donate, please get in touch with them.
By supporting Hand Me Down Hub, you are helping to provide essential items to those in need, making a significant difference to the lives of young children and their families.
The Hand Me Down Hub will be available at Pinchbeck Community Hub and Library alongside our Cake Sale on the 1st Saturday of every month (starting in November 2024) from 10am to 12 noon.
- Hand Me Down Hub relies on the generosity of the local community to donate clean, good condition items.
- There's no 'charge' for their service, but financial contributions of any size are welcome to help with running costs.
- Clothing: Birth to 5 years clothing, coats, snowsuits, puddlesuits, shoes, sandals, boots, slippers.
- Bedding and Towels: Blankets, swaddles, sleep bags, hooded towels, muslins, comforters.
- Bathing: Baths, bath seats/supports.
- Play and Comfort: Play mats, gyms, bounce chairs, Moses baskets/stands, bedding.
- Nappies: Nappies and pull-up pants.
- Sterilisation and Changing: Microwave and cold water sterilisers, changing bags, changing mats.
